We have developed a method to protect monocrystalline panels from environmental mechanical impacts.
Imagine this: the coating repels rain, dirt, and splashes. Tar, plant resins, oil films, and stuck insects on the glass are easily removed. No matter the weather, your glass remains clean. The treated surface creates a lotus effect, where water forms nearly perfect spherical droplets that roll off or blow away, carrying dirt and dust with them.
This nanocomposite treatment forms a surface layer of tightly packed molecules, just one or two molecules thick, with unique properties.
First, after the initial glass treatment with a nanoparticle-based compound, the surface becomes smoother. The tiny particles not only clean the surface thoroughly but also fill in defects like microcracks, making the glass more uniform, ensuring an even hydrophobic coating application.
Second, the hydrophobic coating’s molecules contain active groups that bond strongly to the glass, preventing wear from wipers or washing. These molecules also feature a fluorinated hydrophobic layer that shields the surface, giving it water-repellent properties. This fluorinated layer adds friction resistance, increasing the coating’s durability.
At Del Mar Energy, we firmly believe that solar energy is the key technology of the future. The only downside is its reliance on environmental conditions. We are committed to ensuring that our products are flawless and tailored to meet any consumer’s needs, and that’s why we develop such optimization mechanisms—with your support, of course!
