This year, Del Mar Energy has significantly expanded its production capabilities and introduced new technologies in the extraction and processing of energy resources. Key achievements of the year include the transition to the gusher method of gas extraction, the completion of the Iowa Hydroelectric Plant (HPP) - 2, and the inauguration of the Bailey 1-3 oil refinery complex. These steps are aimed at enhancing the company's efficiency and sustainability in the energy market.
In 2011, Del Mar Energy implemented the gusher method of gas extraction, a technologically advanced and economically efficient way of extracting natural gas from underground reservoirs. Unlike traditional methods, the gusher method utilizes natural gas pressure, significantly reducing operational costs and minimizing environmental impact.
The completion of the Iowa HPP-2 was a significant milestone for Del Mar Energy and the region as a whole. The new hydroelectric plant is equipped with modern equipment, ensuring high reliability and efficiency. HPP-2 is designed to produce 500 MW of electricity, significantly alleviating the regional electricity shortage and providing stable power supply to industrial and residential consumers.
In 2011, we launched the Bailey 1-3 oil refinery complex, one of the most modern and largest facilities of its kind in the region. The complex includes three plants, each equipped with state-of-the-art technology for processing crude oil into fuel and other petroleum products. Bailey 1-3 has a capacity to process up to 300,000 barrels of oil per day, significantly increasing the holding's production capacity and market competitiveness.
This year has been a pivotal phase in the development of the Del Mar Energy industrial holding. The implementation of the gusher gas extraction method, the construction of the Iowa HPP-2, and the opening of the Bailey 1-3 oil refinery complex highlight the company's commitment to innovation, sustainable development, and operational efficiency. These accomplishments lay a solid foundation for further growth and the strengthening of Del Mar Energy's position in the global energy market.
